Which session is right for my family?

In New York City, we always like to do do something a little different.  Meeting Santa Claus is no different when you come visit him at Big Apple Portraits. This year we are offering 3 different ways to see Santa.  We will keep both him and your family safe while we still have a little fun.  Santa & our staff are fully vaccinated and staff will continue wearing masks for all sessions.

Santa is always in demand at our studio and we want to make sure that you have best experience with him and the safest.  This means that we have 3 different options to meet with jolly ol’St. Nick-Mini Studio Sessions with Santa or Magical Mini Sessions with Santa or Outdoor Central Park Sessions with Santa .

Our Mini Studio Sessions with Santa are designed for kids of all ages.  These 10 minute sessions have some great opportunities where kids will get to have some fun with Santa. We will get those cute close ups of hugging Santa and whispering in his ear what they want for Christmas.  We love when kids bring a letter/hand drawn picture for Santa so that way he knows what they are really hoping for.  You will still be able to choose up to 3 activities to do with Santa, including family photos with Santa, tying Santa or the kids up in lights, and more.  For younger kids who may be a little frightened of Santa, we will do the sneak in technique.  This means we will start with the kids solo and have Santa sneak in from behind and this way we definitely have a couple photos smiling with Santa in case there is the “Santa freak out”.  This session is the one so many clients keep coming back for.  The Mini Studio Session is being offered during the morning hours (8:30am-12:30pm).Packages start at $135

Our Magical Mini Sessions are truly a unique experience for kids.  These 15 minute sessions give kids a true opportunity to have a little one on one time with Santa in a storytelling technique and the end result will be 5 beautiful nostalgic artwork worthy digital images.  This year kids will be transported into Santa’s kitchen, complete with tons of toys & cookies.  Kids will be able to sneak in and wake up Santa, give him their letter (or drawing) with wishes, check for their name in the Nice List, and then he will invite them to decorate cookies with him ending with a giant leg hug for the big guy in red.  This session is better for kids who are walking and talking.  The Magical Mini Session is being offered during the afternoon hours (2pm-6pm). Session fee is $350 and includes 5 digital images.  Additional products available.

Our Outdoor Santa Sessions in Central Park run similar to our Mini Studio Sessions except we move the whole operation outdoors! These 10 minute sessions start in front of the giant holly trees in Central Park, complete with a little bench and tons of gifts all for a holiday feel.  We will get those great close ups and kids will still have some great activities to do with Santa-play tug-o-war, arm wrestle or even some great family photos.  We love when you dress up kids in their cute winter wear for these photos. The Outdoor Session is being offered during the all day (8:30am-4pm).Packages start at $135.
